Prices

So... what’s all of this spectacularness going to cost?

Why, I’m so glad you asked!

Please keep in mind:

What's Included

• 10 nights in premium hotels & boutique resorts

• Daily breakfast, 6 lunches, and 7 dinners

• Fresh fruits, snacks and isotonic drinks during rides

• Thailand racing jersey, rucksack, and water bottle

• Full support on the road -- English speaking cycling experts, mechanics, vehicle drivers.

• All entry fees and activities

• All tips are included. We are NOT stingy -- our crew works hard and we pay and tip them well. But rather than you worrying about if you're tipping the right amount (which can be complicated in a foreign country) we just include the tips in the price of the ride. You're not skipping tips; you've ALREADY paid for them.

What's NOT Included

• Airfare

• Bike Rental (or bring your own bike if you prefer).

Rental Prices

Road Bike (Aluminium): $200 for the entire trip

Road Bike (Carbon): $300

Road E-Bike: $400

Touring E-Bike (flat handlebar): $300

• Transportation from the Bangkok airport to our hotel in downtown Bangkok and back again. More on this here. About $30 total each way for two people, or $50 each way for a mini van (holds more people or you and your bikes if you are bringing them with you).

• Alcohol in sane quantities IS included at meals, but if you want to order that rare Scotch or MANY drinks you pay for that.

• Spa services such as massage or beauty treatments. Available at some of our overnight stops.

• Extra excursions you may choose to book when you arrive, such as scuba diving or cooking classes.

• Souvenirs

• Each day a pro bike mechanic will be available to tweak anything that needs tweaking. This is free. If your rental bike needs parts or major surgery it will be covered by the rental folks. If your own bike needs parts or significant work, it will cost extra. (Reasonable... but extra).

• Inner tubes. Included with the rental bikes; bring inner tubes if you are using your own bike on the trip.

Total Price:

$5678* per person

Please note that our friendly and much more famous competitor charges $7,000 - $8,500 for a similar trip.  But are we going to brag? We are not.

AND...

Prices are based on two people per room.

If you want a private room of your own please add $800.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

You don’t have to pay for the entire trip all at once if you don’t want to.

When you register for the ride we will ask for a $500 deposit by credit card to save your space in the ride.

You can cancel within 14 days and get ALL of that money back. No questions asked.

The payment schedule is as follows:

An additional $1,000 per person is due within 30 days after you register.

The final balance is due no later than January 15, 2026.

We'll send you an invoice as a friendly reminder when payments are due.

SO... we strongly recommend that you consider buying trip insurance here.  That way if something happens where you can’t attend the trip you’re covered. This insurance is offered by an excellent insurance company that has paid out many times to our cycling friends over the years. Every trip we do, we get a last-minute plea from a cyclist with a real emergency.  Trip insurance covers you and gets you a refund. No matter how ill your mother/cat/ficus tree is, we can not issue ANY refunds -- that's why we recommend trip insurance.

Prices for the insurance? Depend on the options you pick. Feel free to go to the insurance site here and play around -- no commitment or credit card required. No sales pitches or phone calls. We do not earn a commission or mark-up from trip insurance.

*Why this odd number? This is either hilarious or boring as all get out -- your choice!

I wrassled with the budget numbers quite a bit and did my best to keep the price as low as possible while still providing the high-quality trip you deserve. $5,750 seemed to be right price -- still drastically lower than our more famous competitors' $7,000 - $8,500 price.

But I was reminded fondly of my four-month solo bicycling trip through Southeast Asia -- Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali.

Pedaling alone for long periods of time the mind can... uh... wander. Some days I found myself staring far too frequently at my simple handlebar-mounted bike odometer:

Look!  My total for this trip just hit 1,234 miles!  (Get it? 1, 2, 3, 4!) Now it's 2121. In a couple days I'll hit 2345!  Complete and utter nonsense but...

So after spending way too much time thinking about the $5750 price I decided to have some fun and change it to $5678. You save a few bucks and I get reminded of a great trip from the past. Go figure.
